B&CE Charitable Trust
Launched in 1991, the B&CE Charitable Trust provides financial assistance to construction workers and their families who are suffering hardship. Since its creation, the trust has helped pay household bills, assisted with home alteration costs, and contributed to worker re-training.
Constructing Better Health
An industry-backed occupational health scheme for construction workers, Constructing Better Health sets the standards for employers to follow. B&CE provides the scheme with company secretarial, administrative, and financial support.
Lobbying and education
B&CE puts its expertise to work for the benefit of everyone in the industry. For example, we help employers keep pace with changing pensions legislation through free workplace seminars. As the manager of the UK's most popular stakeholder pension scheme*, we also lobby the government to ensure our members can make the most of their retirement savings. What's more, B&CE conducts regular research regarding pension and benefit provision, such as the study, 'Pension Perceptions in Britain Today'.
