The online Personal Health Risk Assessment is based on the unique Q-Score™. The system is based around a thorough 15 minute online questionnaire and gives your employees an easy to understand, visual representation of their current health status.
The Q-Score™ works by telling your employees where they are in a queue of 100 people of the same age, gender and race. The online system allows employees to easily see the major risks to their health and identify the steps that can be taken to help them improve and track their progress.
You will be presented with an electronic Company Health Report, with the anonymous results of your employees which will enable you to see in an instant any health risks affecting your workforce. You can also use this tool to track your workforce’s overall health improvement.
Upgrade Options
To achieve the most accurate Q-Score™ result it is advisable for employees to have an understanding of their biometric profile, i.e. cholesterol level, blood pressure, BMI. Not all employees will have access to this information, therefore we offer the following upgrade options*:
Option 1: Biometric Tests - £36 each
Employees attend at 10 minute appointment with a pharmacist/clinician, either at a local pharmacy or at your work.
The following biometric tests will be done:
- Resting heart rate (3 readings during the appointment)
- Blood pressure (3 readings during the appointment)
- Total cholesterol
- HDL cholesterol
- Blood glucose
- Height, weight and body mass index
At the end of the session, the pharmacist/clinician will upload the results, and within minutes the results will be available to view online and the Q-Score™ updated.
Option 2: Biometric Consultation - £59 each
This option includes the same tests as above, however will include an additional 15 minutes where the pharmacist/clinician will review the employee’s medical history and lifestyle with them, counsel them about their revised risk scores, and discuss the recommended health improvement actions. The Biometric Consultation can take place either at a local pharmacy or at your work.
Option 3: KAM (Kinetic Activity Monitor) - £48 each
The KAM activity measurement device will help employees track and improve their fitness levels as it measures not only the amount of exercise undertaken, but also the intensity. The results are uploaded online and employees’ Q-Score™ will be updated to reflect their progress.
Option 4: Healthconsultant - £60 per employee, per month
This service is available for those employees who would benefit from an enhanced level of support. Each employee will have access to their own professionally qualified advisor who will provide lifestyle support and advice, via phone or email, based upon their personal Q-Score™ to help improve their lifestyle.
