The national insurance holiday pay concession has been under review by HMRC for some time. In the recent pre budget statement it was announced that the concession will be withdrawn from all sectors, apart from the construction industry*, with effect from 30 October 2007.
We are pleased to inform you that the concession will remain open to the construction industry for a further five years until October 2012 and that we at B&CE look forward to continuing to administer the holiday pay scheme on behalf of the industry.
