B&CE Benefit Schemes is a trading name used for the B&CE Group of Companies.  Formed in 1942, B&CE is the UK's largest provider of financial benefits to construction industry employers and individuals. 

This privacy notice explains how we use any personal information we collect about you when you use this website.  By using our website you are agreeing to the collection and use of your personal data as set out below.

WHAT INFORMATION WE COLLECT AND HOW


You can access our website pages and browse them without having to supply any personal data.  We only collect personal data that is volunteered when you complete any of the enquiry or on-line application forms and when you use our Online Services or contact us by email.

 

The information that we collect via this website may include:

 

  1. Your IP address (this is your computer's individual identification number for internet connection) that is automatically logged by our web server.  This is only used for administrative purposes.

 

  1. Any personal details that you type in and submit such as your name, address, email address, date of birth, National Insurance number and other information.

 

  1. Data that allows us to remember you and how you use this website.  This saves you from re-keying information when you return to the site.

ACCESS TO YOUR INFORMATION AND CORRECTION

The Data Protection Act gives you the right to request a copy of the information that we hold about you.  If you would like a copy of some or all of your personal information, please send an email, or write to our Data Protection Officer at B&CE Benefit Schemes, Manor Royal, Crawley, West Sussex RH10 9QP.  We may charge you £10 for this service.

We want to make sure that your personal information is accurate and up to date.  You may ask us to correct of remove information you think is inaccurate.

  • Click on the Privacy tab
  • Move the slider to the top, the display will read 'Block all cookies'

Mozilla Firefox

  • Go to the Tools menu then select Options
  • Click on the Privacy icon
  • Click on Cookies
  • Remove the tick from 'Allow sites to set cookies'
  • Click OK

If you choose to disable our cookies, you will not be able to log in to our Online Services. 


SECURITY

To comply with the Data Protection Act 1998, all our employees who have access to and are associated with the processing of your personal data will treat the information as confidential. We have taken appropriate measures to safeguard personal data held under our control against unauthorised access, unlawful or accidental destruction or accidental loss.

If you send us an email via this website it will be sent through an encrypted link, which changes the information sent into code.  This means any personal information stays secure while it is being sent to us.

If an email is not encrypted then it is not secure.  Therefore, if you email an enquiry to us from your mailbox, please do not include any private information such as your date of birth, national insurance number or bank account details. Also, if we reply to your enquiry by email we cannot guarantee its security of the email once we have sent it.

We cannot accept responsibility for the security or loss of personal information outside the control of our systems.
